Apply to judge.

We are looking for people who have actually built, funded or regulated businesses in our categories, and who will read every entry properly rather than skim to the numbers.

The commitment

What judging actually involves.

Time

Roughly eight to twelve hours across a three week window: a one hour briefing, independent scoring of your assigned category, and a ninety minute panel session to confirm finalists and winners.

Method

You score each nomination from 1 to 10 against published weighted criteria, in a scoring sheet we provide. You do not confer with other judges before submitting.

Independence

You declare every conflict before receiving entries and recuse from any category where a relationship exists.

Recognition

Judges are credited in the programme, on the site and from the stage, and are guests of IWEC on the night. The role is unpaid.

Who we especially want to hear from: operators who have scaled a business past the founder dependent stage, lenders and grant assessors who read financials for a living, sector regulators and accreditation bodies, procurement leaders, and immigrant women founders one or two stages ahead of our nominees.

Application

Join the panel

10 September 2026 to 10 October 2026

Nominations Open

Someone you know has built something remarkable and has never once been asked to tell the story. Take fifteen minutes and put her forward.
