Hospitality, Food & Tourism Entrepreneur Award

Restaurants, catering, food brands, hotels, travel and tourism businesses, the industries where culture becomes commerce.

What this award recognises

Hospitality, Food & Tourism Entrepreneur Award

Founders who have built hospitality and food businesses that are both well run and culturally significant. This is one of the most common entry points into Canadian entrepreneurship for immigrant women, and one of the least forgiving: thin margins, long hours, high staff turnover. Excellence here is hard earned.

Who should be nominated

Founders of restaurants, cafes, catering companies, packaged food and beverage brands, food manufacturing, hotels, short stay accommodation, tour operators, event and travel businesses.
